EPS Rating

Overview

The EPS Rating profile colors the market by earnings power. The EPS Rating compares each company's earnings-per-share performance against every other company on the platform, evaluating growth over the most recent two quarters plus the annual growth rate over up to five years, on a trailing four-quarter basis. The data is adjusted on a non-GAAP basis to strip out one-time items, so the rating reflects underlying earnings strength.

Grouped by sector and industry and sized by market cap, the map shows where the market's real earnings growth lives, the fundamental engine behind most durable stock leadership.

info

Ratings run from 1 to 99, with 99 representing the strongest EPS performance. Earnings strength is the most heavily weighted input in the composite MarketAlpha Rating, which says something about how much it matters.
