Splits
Overview
The Splits profile tracks stocks that recently completed a stock split or have one scheduled ahead. It is built for monitoring corporate action names where share structure changes may influence liquidity, volatility, sentiment, and trading behavior.
By combining split-specific fields with ratings, momentum, and capital flow metrics, this profile makes it easier to find stocks where a split matters in context - not just as an isolated event, but as part of a broader trend, quality story, or liquidity shift.
This profile updates in real time and applies filters automatically to include only stocks with a recent or upcoming stock split. Results are sorted by dollar volume rank to keep the most liquid and actively traded split-related names at the top.
Strategy Focus
- Track stocks with recent or upcoming stock splits that may attract higher attention, changing liquidity, or stronger retail participation
- Use Next Split In Days and Next Split Date to prepare for upcoming corporate action events
- Review Last Split Ratio and Last Split Days Ago to understand how recent the split was and how large the structural change may have been
- Combine split metrics with MarketAlpha Rating, EPS Rating, Sales Rating, and Profit Rating to focus on stronger underlying companies
- Monitor Accumulation/Distribution Score and Relative Strength to see whether capital is supporting the move
- Add Industry Rating 1 Year and Theme Rating 1 Year to judge whether the stock is operating inside a stronger or weaker group backdrop
Filters Applied
- Only tickers with historical or upcoming stock splits: Keeps the profile focused on names where share structure has already changed or is expected to change soon, making it relevant for event-driven screening and post-split behavior tracking.

- Relative Strength 1 Year: Adds long-term performance context versus peers.
- Return Year to Date (%): Helps measure whether price trend and split-related interest are aligned.
Group Context and Liquidity

- Dollar Volume Rank: Keeps the profile focused on names with enough real trading activity to matter.
