EPS & Sales Momentum
Overview
The EPS & Sales Momentum profile is built to find companies where both earnings growth and revenue growth are accelerating across recent results and forward expectations. These are often the names where improving fundamentals begin to align with stronger price behavior, higher conviction from analysts, and cleaner breakout potential.
The profile focuses on liquid stocks with enough volatility to matter and applies multiple layers of filters so the results stay concentrated on companies showing real momentum in both reported and forecasted performance. In Alpha Charts, the Earnings Table helps you review multi-quarter acceleration, past surprises, and the broader earnings trend behind each setup.
This profile updates in real time and applies filters automatically to surface liquid stocks with accelerating EPS and sales trends across both recent and upcoming quarters.

- Focus on stocks with both historical acceleration and forward acceleration
- Combine fundamental momentum with AI setup quality and current market structure
- Prioritize liquid names with enough volatility to support follow-through

- Build growth-focused watchlists around companies where business momentum and price behavior are aligning
Filters Applied
This profile applies multiple layers of filters to keep the results focused on liquid stocks with meaningful acceleration in both earnings and sales:
- Liquidity Rating > 70, ATRP 14D ≥ 0.5, Volatility (Month) ≥ 1: Ensures that each stock is liquid enough to trade efficiently and active enough to produce follow-through.
- EPS Acc/Dec - Latest Quarter = Acceleration, Sales Acc/Dec - Latest Quarter = Acceleration: Requires acceleration in the most recently reported quarter for both earnings and revenue.
- EPS Acc/Dec - Next Quarter Fwd. = Acceleration, Sales Acc/Dec - Next Quarter Fwd. = Acceleration: Requires forward acceleration expectations, helping isolate names where the trend is still improving rather than fading.
- EPS Growth ≥ 5%, Sales Growth ≥ 5%: Removes weaker expansion and keeps the profile focused on companies with meaningful growth.
These combined filters ensure that each result shows both fundamental momentum and enough liquidity and volatility to support a tradeable setup.
