AI Alpha Strategy
The Alpha Strategy is MarketAlpha’s real-time AI-generated directional signal. It determines whether the system recommends a Long or Short bias for a given ticker — based on live chart structure, trend behavior, and confirmation strength.
How the Alpha Strategy Works
MarketAlpha’s AI continuously evaluates every ticker to determine the most likely directional bias. This decision is based on a blend of:
- Structural support/resistance (AVWAPs, moving averages, pivots)
- Confirmed trendlines, swing highs/lows, and Fibonacci zones
- RSI divergences and price momentum
- Volume analysis and breakout behavior
- Real-time trend confirmation and short-term volatility
Each Alpha Strategy signal includes a Price Action Confirmation Score from 0 to 4, visualized as dots:
(No icons displayed) — Very Low Confirmation: No current alignment between price action and the AI’s directional bias
●○○○ — Low Confirmation: Weak structure or unclear movement
●●○○ — Medium Confirmation: Partial structure and momentum alignment
●●●○ — High Confirmation: Solid support from price action, structure confirmed
●●●● — Very High Confirmation: Excellent alignment, strong confirmation from price, trend, and breakout behavior
This score helps filter setups that aren’t just valid — but currently supported by strong movement.

This gives full flexibility — whether you want to follow AI bias exclusively or scan the broader universe of setups manually.
Practical Benefits
The Alpha Strategy signal simplifies decision-making by:
- Clearly stating the most probable directional setup
- Pairing it with a real-time confidence score
- Integrating with every chart, screener, and watchlist view
For example, you can filter for:
- Long strategies with Confidence ≥ 3 and Risk/Reward ≥ 2.0
- Short strategies with minimal resistance between price and target
- Tickers where the AI bias recently flipped from Long to Short
Because all logic is derived from visible chart components, every Alpha Strategy is explainable, not black-boxed — and updates live as the market evolves.
In short, the AI Alpha Strategy acts as your directional compass — surfacing the setups where price structure, momentum, and technical clarity align in real time.
