1 Year Movers

Overview

The 1 Year Movers profile isolates the strongest and weakest groups over the past 12 months using Group Rating 1 Year. It helps you compare durable leadership against persistent laggards and gives you a cleaner view of long-term trend winners, long-term underperformers, and possible inflection points inside both.

info

This profile updates in real time and highlights groups at the strongest and weakest ends of 12-month performance. It is useful for tracking durable leadership, structural weakness, and trend shifts inside long-established winners and laggards.

Strategy Focus

  • Highlight long-term leaders and laggards across industries and themes
  • Identify persistent outperformance for trend-following and leadership workflows
  • Surface structurally weak groups for avoidance, short-side research, or mean-reversion analysis
  • Compare today’s behavior with the 1-year trend to spot continuation or early divergence
  • Track volume, divergence, and setup shifts inside long-standing trends
  • Use the profile to find groups where long-term trend and current opportunity density intersect

Filters Applied

This profile uses a dual long-term filter to surface both ends of the performance spectrum:

  • Group Rating 1 Year ≥ 95: Includes the strongest groups over the trailing 12 months
  • Group Rating 1 Year ≤ 5: Includes the weakest groups over the trailing 12 months

These conditions are combined with an OR rule, so a group appears if it is either a long-term leader or a long-term laggard.
