Group Viewer

The Group Viewer is a powerful research tool that displays all relevant information about any industry or theme — letting you analyze metrics, isolate individual companies, and dig deeper using linked tools like the Ticker Screener and Multi-Charts.

It transforms group-level data into actionable insights by letting you click on any relevant metric to instantly open a filtered screener — already scoped to the group and the selected condition.

How to Open​

You can open the Group Viewer by:

  • Using the Main Navigation Bar → Click Group Viewer
  • Using the Universal Search → Right-click a company and open its industry or theme
  • Clicking on a group name anywhere inside the Group Screener → Opens the Group Viewer Sidebar
  • Right-clicking a group inside the Group Screener → Choose Open in Group Viewer

Search Input​

  • Type the name of any industry or theme to load its Group Viewer
  • You’ll see the number of included companies and the group’s 1-Year Group Rating shown on the right

Start typing from your keyboard to instantly activate the Search Bar at the top left — no need to click inside it first.

Group Action Buttons​

  • Ticker Screener → Opens the Ticker Screener pre-filtered to show all companies in the selected group
  • Multi-Charts → Opens a visual chart grid of all companies in the group, sortable by any metric and powered by your saved Alpha Chart settings

Group Ticker Panel​

At the top of the Group Viewer, you’ll see a scrollable, clickable list of all companies included in the selected industry or theme — sorted by liquidity and Alpha Setup strength.

  • Green background → High liquidity (cleaner price action and easier execution)
  • Yellow background → Lower liquidity (higher risk of slippage or illiquidity)
  • Purple highlight → Highly liquid Top Alpha Setups detected today

You can click any ticker to open it directly in the Ticker Viewer for a full breakdown.

Use the left/right arrows or click-and-drag to navigate through large groups efficiently.

This panel helps you:

  • Quickly identify which companies matter most inside the group — without manual sorting
  • Instantly spot Top Alpha Setups and drill into them in one click
  • Evaluate group composition quality by comparing top names by liquidity and structure
  • Stay focused on scalable, high-conviction ideas rather than random tickers

Group Metrics Table​

All available and relevant data about the selected group is shown in an interactive table below the chart:

  • Includes technicals, fundamentals, performance, volatility, earnings, and more
  • Hover over any metric or value for a tooltip explanation
  • Scroll using your mouse or click-and-drag vertically to move through the data

Metric Isolation​

One of the most powerful features of Group Viewer is metric-level filtering. Many metrics in the table are clickable — letting you isolate companies that meet a specific condition inside the group.

Example:

  • If the Semiconductors group shows “75% of companies at support”, clicking the number opens the Ticker Screener
  • The screener is automatically filtered by:
    • Industry = Semiconductors
    • Metric = Price at Support

This gives you an instant shortlist of tickers that meet your structural criteria — with zero manual setup.
